Betwixt and Between

Being resilient when life throws you a curve…

We were supposed to be done with COVID and back to "normal" by now - right? Instead, from what we hear, most of us feel something akin to this woman—betwixt and between. Frankly, we are not sure how to go forward.

Whether we’ve suffered through death and indescribable grief during these two years, forfeited a business, or experienced sheer isolation, life is discombobulated. We are bewildered at best, incapacitated at worst.

And yet, humans are resilient. And, notably, older adults are the most so. We are emerging with a new sense of appreciation for life, relationships, and faith. We are looking for ways to serve, heal, and love.

Such are the stories we are discovering and telling in our upcoming book, Emerging.©  As we all begin to climb out of the crevice and onto solid ground, there are lessons learned, wisdom gained. Stay tuned—better yet, tell us your story. Together we can emerge with resilience, flexibility, strength, faith, and stronger spirits.

Please contact us (at Re-Ignite) and tell us your story!

WORDS ABOUT RESILIENCE

We don't look at the troubles we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever.
--2 Corinthians 4:18 (NLT)

No matter how much falls on us, we keep plowing ahead.
That's the only way to keep the roads clear.

--Greg Kincaid

Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice
at the end of the day saying,
'I will try again tomorrow.

--Mary Ann Radmacher

For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter;
In the secret place of His tent will He hide me;

He will set me high upon a rock.

Psalm 27:5 (Amp)

Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.
--Helen Keller
