Do We Ask Enough Questions?
by Dan Seagren
Posted: June 7, 2020
Making sense in a sometimes senseless world…
Dan penned this piece in April, early in the COVID-19 pandemic, as Bernie Sanders dropped out of the U.S. presidential race. The passage of time does not diminish the point that we need to ask questions about the vast about of information we are expoesd to each day.
It's official:
Friends, Crazy Bernie is dropping out of the race. Democrats never wanted anything to do with Crazy Bernie - it was RIGGED against him from the start. FIRST, they had failing candidates Amy Klobuchar, Pete Boot-Edge-Edge, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Andrew Yang, Kirsten Gillibrand, Tulsi Gabbard, Robert Francis O'Rourke, and Mini Mike endorse Sleepy Joe. THEN, they made Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas' Warren quit (at least now she can enjoy a nice cold beer with her husband). And NOW, with the help of the corrupt media and Sleepy Joe, they just flat out forced Crazy Bernie to drop out. The Left has finished off Bernie, and it's only a matter of time before they're going to come after YOUR President, which is why we need to be prepared to fight back.
Everyone knows who wrote this but the question is this: Which previous Presidents would have written similarly? Should Presidents, Officers, Leaders, Clergy, Physicians, Lawyers, Politicians refrain from this kind of rhetoric? After four years as president, can we expect his style to change? He is not the only ranking Official to do what he does, says what he pleases, refuses a salary and pretends to possess a flawless past. But what really is he up to?
How long was the coronavirus active before China took action? Who did China blame for the caronavirus? Did an earlier caronavirus, the SARS, begin in China? Was the U.S. unprepared for a pandemic virus even after earlier warnings like what another President made in 2005 following the SARS epidemic. Do we know exactly how it originated and expanded near and far after only four months in existence. Should we know the answers by now or is it too early?
Our country was perhaps too preoccupied politically. The mass media might have missed some important news, like Chinese maniuplation of data to under-report the number of deaths, or such negative reaction about the National Day of Prayer during the crisis, or the lingering mysterious origin of the crisis, plus those close international ties with Communist China. The endangered world is suffering with handling a pandemic and desperately needs what one major worldwide Epoch Times newspaper promotes: Truth and Tradition. And less fake news and cover-ups. Hopefully, the whole truth will prevail.
Should we not ask more rather than fewer questions?
